Will a doctor know that I used abortion pills?

Abortion medicines cannot be detected in the blood or any bodily fluids within a few hours after use and there is no test available for it. Even if a hospital claims that they can check it, it is not true.

An abortion with pills looks exactly the same as a spontaneous miscarriage, there is bleeding and pain. The only difference is that in spontaneous miscarriage there are no side effects of misoprostol (diarrhea, nausea, chills etc). There is no need to disclose that the pills were taken, if it does not feel comfortable to do so or if it can lead to problems. The medical staff will not see the difference if the pills were taken in the mouth. About 20% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage, so it is very common for medical staff to see people with miscarriages.
