What if I do not take misoprostol exactly 24 hours after mifepristone – can I take it earlier or later?
Misoprostol does not have to be used exactly 24 hours after taking the mifepristone. It is most recommended to take the misoprostol 24 - 48 hours after the mifepristone, but no sooner then 24 hours after the mifepristone. The effects of mifepristone wear off after about 72 hours.
