Angel M. Foster DPhil, MD.

Dr. Foster holds an Endowed Chair of Women’s Health Research at the University of Ottawa where she is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences. Dr. Foster has conducted mixed-methods research and published extensively on women’s reproductive health in Canada, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Palestine, the Thailand/Burma border, Tunisia, and the US.

Caitlin Gerdts, PhD, MHS

Dr. Gerdts is a senior associate at Ibis Reproductive Health. Previously she worked withA dvancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH) at the University of California, San Francisco.  Dr. Gerdts is an Epidemiologist whose research focuses on the measurement of morbidity and mortality due to unsafe abortion in the developing world.

Lyubov Erofeeva, MD

Dr. Erofeeva has over 20 years of experience in women’s health and rights issues as an experienced clinician. For several years she worked at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and International Organization for Migration (IOM) as a National Program Officer. Currently Dr Erofeeva is a Director General of the biggest SRHR NGO in the Russian Federation - Russian Association for Population and Development (RAPD), a Board member of the European Society of Contraception and Reproductive Health (ESC), an Editorial Board member of the European Journal of Contraception and Reproductive Health Care and a Chief Editor for the Russian edition of Reproductive Health Matters (RHM) magazine.

Mara Carvalho, MD

Dr. Carvalho is a family physician and an activist for sexual rights, co-founder of Doctors for Choice - Portugal and current board chair of the Portuguese Planned Parenthood Association. Dr. Carvalho serves as scientific advisor for Revista Saúde Reprodutiva, Sexualidade e Sociedade (Magazine about Reproductive Health, Sexuality and Society).
